He said al-Houthi used to claim he was the Expected Al-Mahdi, the obey possessing the right to power and its spiritual father.

Responding to a question by Al-Arabiyah satellite channel Monday about president Ali Abdullah Saleh's request of the Libyan mediation for solving what is going on in Saada, al-Barakani said " First of all president Saleh respects himself fully, he is a head of a state shouldering the responsibility of a homeland so how can he ask for that from foreign sides? The president was always keen that the sedition would end without shedding of blood or the use of the armed forces since the beginning to decide the situation. It is unbelievable that a head of state asks another one to intervene for ending a rebellion inside his country.

In his interview to the Al-Arabiyah channel al-Barakani said the question of outside intervention is completely ruled out for solving Saada sedition because there are rebels and the armed forces are built for defending the legitimacy and homelands. This is the duty of armed forces and should bear their responsibility. We would not beg anybody or ask for mediation and there cannot be a talk of outside solutions because the issue of the rebels, the sedition and the criminals cannot be waved with a signal of peace as they are outlaws and criminals."

In response to what the terrorist Yahya al-Houthi alleged that the armed forces are settling internal accounts, al-Barakani said " I feel surprised that Yahya al-Houthis's words and allegations are repeated," adding that " if the president is after blood he would have ordered the killing of all the prisoners who were against the backdrop of the sedition, who have been released and now they are on the mountains fighting. And if he were like that he would have arrested Yahya al-Houthi before his departure from Sana'a. The president is ken on every drop of blood, not only in Saada and he has opened many opportunities to the Houthis to return to reason and dialogue and this is much more than any head of a state would do." He said president Saleh is not against the Zaidi sect and maybe he is affiliate of this sect but he had surpassed it and joined Yemen, democracy, freedom and humanity that would not shed blood, rebel or change to agent and rebellious seeking to harm his country and instigate against it.

On the sectarian aspect of Saada commotion as claimed by al-Houthi al-Barakani said no one speaks about that and Yahya al-Houthi has to return to the Zaidi scholars who have condemned al-Houthi's destructive behaviour.

Sheikh al-Barakani described terrorist Yahya al-Houthi as agent to foreign states and what he submits is an expression of the same old mentality that does not believe in democracy and the sovereign of the state or the security and stability.
