almotamar.net - The Yemeni Journalists Syndicate demanded on Monday the ministry of interior and the general prosecutor to hold investigation into what some journalists were exposed to by members of the prosecution on duty in the capital on Sunday evening.

A statement issued by the YJS on Monday mentioned that editor in chief of Al-Nidaa newspaper Sami Ghalib and Hamdi al-Bukari chairman f the profession and training affairs at the Syndicate were following up the measures taken against the editor in chief of Al-Wahdawi newspaper then a security man began calling names against journalists and others began threatened them with their guns.


The YJS denounced the stance of a member of the prosecution who refused intervention holding the journalists beforehand responsible for what they may happen to them.
