Al-Adoufi refused to disclose to almotamar.net correspondent who visited him at the hospital about causes of the dispute that led to his injury with two shots I his office on Monday by an employee called Mohammed Atiq Abdulrab.

Dr Abdullah al-Tuwaiti who carried out the operation to al-Adoufi said the two shots hit his right thigh above the knee but did not cause any bone fraction and the operation was completed and the injury was treated. He added Mr. al-Adoufi could stay in hospital for 2 � 3 days to be sure of his safety after the operation.

Dr Issam al-Hattami, supervising the health of the former ambassador said his condition is stable and much improved and he is subject to intensive care around the clock.

Meanwhile a security source told almotamar.net investigations began with the offender Mohammed Abdulrab whom seems to be suffering from a neurological condition and the real motives of the incident has not been disclosed yet. The source affirmed that investigations are still going on and would be revealed later in preparation for his trial.
