almotamar.net - Prime Minister Abdulqader Bajammal said the new orientations in managing dialogue with political parties and organisations in Yemen would expand the base of participation in legislation through finding the "second chamber" supporting the legislative role of the parliament besides reforms in administrating the local authority as well as amendments regarding the law of press and publications.
In his meeting on Wednesday withy the National Democracy Institute resident director in Yemen Peter Dimitrov Bajammal indicated that those subjects will receive the biggest interest in conducting dialogue about them and establishing genuine bases between the government and the General People's Congress on the one hand and the political parties and organisation as well as civil society organisation on the other.
The prime minister stressed the role of the technical and professional institute in the joint action with government institutions and political parties and organisations and civil society organisations for crystallization of the best means for realizing the ideal administration of the democratic and electoral action.
On his part the director of the National Institute praised the efforts the government is exerting in aspects of democratic reforms and their importance in serving the social and political development and to raise the status of and roiled of the woman in the society, confirming the institute's readiness to continue efforts of technical cooperation with different government sides and organisations of the civil society and political parties especially in managing the electoral process.
