The chairman sheikh Mohammed Ali Ajlan clarified to almotamar.net by saying those who raise weapon in the face of the state is possible in case the state announced its apostate against Islam. He said the Islamic religion stressed on the question of mutiny against the state due to its impact such as shedding blood and destabilizing of security.

He added that fighting the sedition and those mutinying against the state is a right.

On his part the MP and deputy chairman of the Islah Shoura Council Dr Ghalib Abdulkafi al-Qarshi said that throughout history Muslim religious scholars and all sects, including the Zaidi sect, have given their legal opinion regarding the fighting against those raising arms in the face of the legitimate state without reason.

Dr al-Qarshi added to almotamar.net that the new sedition in Saada is not a Zaidi or defending the Zaidi sect or any other section Yemen and those who want to be sure let him be acquainted with their memos, tapes and leaflets.

Local media last week quoted a prominent religious scholar in Yemen Mohammed Bin Ismael al-Amrani his legal opinion that fighting al-Houthi followers rebels is a must jihad because they are as he described them as tyrants violated unanimity of the Muslims and the state has to deter them until they resort to reason and added that the Muslims have to support the state in that. The scholar considered the Houthis as not representing the Zaidi sect.
