almotamar.net - The free of charge medical camp established by the Yemeni health ministry in the governorate of Al-Baidha was concluded on Friday after operating 551 different surgical operations for the people of the governorate.
Deputy Chairman of medical camps Dr Tawfiq al-Khatib told almotamar.net Friday that the medical team, composed of Yemeni specialists, consultants and those of high experience, managed to conduct 551 surgical operations in eyes, nose, ear and throat. He added that the camp conducted 480 medical examinations and checks and free of charge medicines were dispensed to patients.
It is to be recalled that this is the 14th medical camp and people benefited from those camps services about 35 thousand persons and 3200 surgical operations had been conducted during the past camps.
Al-Khatib revealed the intention of the ministry to establish a free medical camp in the governorate of Mahrah during the month of next April.
