almotamar.net - Chairman of the Shoura youth council in Yemen Walid Abdulhafidh Majid said Saturday the council puts among its priorities discussion of youth issues and finding tangible solutions for addressing all issues, beginning from carrying out the national strategy on n childhood and youth as it bears tangible aspects that can benefit the youth and a genuine translation of the president�s election platform.

He called for activation of the council role that represents elite of the Yemeni youth besides representatives of political parties and organizations in order to be able to carry out its role in presenting projects capable of achieving for the youth development renascence in various areas.

In a symposium held on Saturday at Thamar University on empowering the youth of Yemen politically he said convening the symposium came for giving information on the Youth Shoura Council among the students of universities and government youth and Thamar governorate as a beginning of a series of meetings with the youth of various governorates.
