Almotamar.net - Fist meetings of political dialogue with political parties and organizations begin Monday at Al-Mithaq Institute in Sana�a. The meetings are to be chaired by Prime Minister Abdulqader Bajammal ant to be attended by leaders of opposition parties of the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP).
This step comes pursuant to agreement of leaders the political parties in their consultative meeting on Sunday under chairmanship of premier, the General People�s Congress (GPC)�s Secretary General Abdulqader Bajammal and included the Secretary general of the Yemen Socialist Party Dr Yassin Nouman, deputy leader of the Yemen Congregation for Reform (Islah) party Mohammed Abdullah al-Yadoumi, and secretary general of the Nasserite Unionist Organisation Sultan al-Atwani who agreed on holding dialogue meetings among leaders of political parties beginning from Monday at the Al-Mithaq Institute.
In his statement to Al-Mithaq newspaper Monday Mr. Bajammal said the GPC initiative for dialogue comes out of its historic responsibility at this stage that all should feel it.
He affirmed that the dialogue would be open to al and there will be no secrets and ideas hidden from tackling, describing the proposed agenda of dialogue as a necessity the GPC derived from its political program and national and surrounding variables.
He pointed out that the Yemeni public has emphasized the necessity of those dialogues and welcomed them as an important step for the creation of a unified future vision on all the homeland�s issues at present and in the future.
The General Committee of the GPC had last month approved precepts and goals of dialogue with political parties and organizations and entrusted the secretary general with holding dialogues with the parties based on constitution and laws and platform of the GPC in order to find a future program of national accord.
