In a press conference in Baghdad he clarified that Iraqi forces were able to arrest two of � criminal; leaders one of them the criminal Midhat Mahmoud al-Hayali arrested in Abu Ghraib area and he is called the Mufti of al-Qaeda organisation�. He said al-Hayali is the Muftin of Al0Taji area north-east of Baghdad and he is supervisor of teaching some religious researches to that � criminal organisation� indicating that al-Hayali confessed of committing many crimes against citizens and security apparatuses.

On the second person who was arrested he said he is called Mahmoud Hamad Kamil al-Madhi, nicknamed as the Palestinian Abu Qatadah and was arrested the day before yesterday. He claimed he is a prominent leading member of al-Qaeda and seized with him documents and CDs concerning the organisation and during interrogation he confessed of perpetrating many crimes against the Iraqi people and armed forces members.
Brigadier General Atta said his important confessions were videotaped daring interrogation, adding he a Palestinian born in Iraq in 1983 and lives in Ramadi.
