Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh emphasized on Wednesday the importance of commitment to resolutions of previous Arab summits particularly the Arab peace initiative proposed at Beirut summit without making any amendments on it.

During his meeting with the visiting Syrian vice-president Farouq al-Shara president Saleh, and with him vice-president Abdrebeh Mansour Hadi, in Sana�a today stressed the importance of working for the success of the upcoming Arab summit and to come out with results meeting aspirations of the Arab nation and enhancing its capability in confronting all challenges.

The president pointed out that the initiative represents the ideal way for the realization of just peace in the region and reflects the actual desire of the Arabs for sticking to the option of peace and achieves the just settlement in the region.
