Almotamar Net - Local sources in the town of Al-Lahiya in the governorate of Huddeida said Sunday that 142 Yemeni fishermen arrived today in the town on board of two boats after they have been retained for several days by Eritrean authorities.

Sources told almotamar.net the 1`42 fishermen were released on Saturday days after Eritrean pirates have intercepted them in the Yemeni territorial waters and detained them after seizing their 10 boats in addition to confiscating tools and equipment used in fishing.

The sources added Eritrean authorities deported the Yemeni fishermen on board of two boats on which hey managed to arrive at the town of Lahiya in Yemen despite oft the dangers they faced as a result of their large number just on board of two boats.
