Almotamar Net - The Yemen Students Union recently held its first conference in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur attended 45 out of 61 members representing 22 Malaysian universities, who won membership of the union following preparatory elections of branches of Malaysian provinces. almotamar,net - The Yemen Students Union recently held its first conference in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur attended 45 out of 61 members representing 22 Malaysian universities, who won membership of the union following preparatory elections of branches of Malaysian provinces.

Secretary General of the preparatory committee of the union Khalid Abdu; aziz reviewed the tasks the committee has achieved for the election of the union including the holding of meetings to explain the idea of establishing a students union to be a link between students and official authorities as well as preparation of organizational rule for the general conference.

At the second session of the conference the door was open for nomination to the membership of the executive body that supervises activities of administrative committees in branches of faculties and universities and recommendations of the general conference.

Eleven members won membership of the executive body with Abdullah Shaddad as chairman of the body and other members for information, cultural, students affairs, academic affairs and public relations departments.
