Almotamar Net - The General People’s Congress (GPC)’s Secretary-General Abdulqader Bajammal reviewed Monday with the GPC parliamentary bloc the list of candidates for the corruption fighting committee that contains 30 names submitted by the Shoura Council to the parliament. Discussion focused on criteria of selecting personalities and confirmed on those of decency and efficiency in choosing members of the committee without regarding the party affiliation. Discussion focused on criteria of selecting personalities and confirmed on those of decency and efficiency in choosing members of the committee without regarding the party affiliation.

The GPC SG chaired Monday afternoon an organizational meeting of the GPC parliamentary bloc where he reviewed a group of issues and subjects and informed the bloc on a vision contained the major trends of tasks of the upcoming stage with its various activities.

The SG affirmed activation of organizational frames at their political, cultural mad information levels for the creation of qualitative change in the future of organisation action of the GPC, stressing that would come through integration and harmony of collective work of different components of organisation beginning from the general secretariat to governorates branches to districts and centres of the organisation.

Bajamal; said the general secretariat works at present for preparing all arrangements for translating practically the orientations including meetings of local permanent committees in governorates and regulation of periodic meetings of GPC�s organizational components. He stressed that the stage demands all to join forces according to studied vision so that the organisation work of the GPC�s leaderships and bases to be based on professionalism especially that the GPC possesses talents and efficiencies able to creativity.

The SG also informed the meeting on results and progress of the GPC dialogue with the political parties represented in the parliament pointing out that the party called for that out of its belief in the importance of involving political forces in discussing the national issues in the bid for reaching an accord about them. He added that the GPC gave space for dialogue on all national important issues.

The Assistant Secretary-General, the head of the parliamentary bloc Sheikh Sultan al-Barakani had opened the meeting with a speech at the beginning of which he said attendance of the SG and presiding over the meeting of the GPC bloc would represent a big push to meetings of the bloc in the upcoming stage.
