almotamar.net - The General People�s Congress (GPC) assistant secretary general for organisation affairs affirmed that the GPC parliamentary bloc has Monday re-elected the present leadership chaired by sheikh Sultan al-Barakani in a meeting headed by the GPC�s secretary general Abdulqader Bajammal and attended by assistant secretaries general of the party.

The assistant secretary general added in a statement to almotamar.net that the operation took place with transparency, serious and sincere dialogue and democratic atmospheres as the members of the bloc renewed their trust in the present leadership.

Commenting on whether there are differences inside the bloc in this regard Abu Ras responded by denying the existence of any differences and added the variance in viewpoints on any issue is a democratic phenomenon and conduct within the organizational work. He said all endeavour those organizational formations of the GPC to play their role in the light of rules organizing them.

Meanwhile the GPC secretary general informed the parliamentary bloc on issues and developments that were tackled in the meeting of the president of the republic the leader of the party with the general secretariat on Monday.
