almotamar,net - Yemen National Defence Council held Tuesday evening a meting chaired by President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. The meeting discussed several issues and topics on its agenda related to strengthening he defence and security capability of the military and security establishment and the level of implementation of the security plan all over the republic.

The meeting also considered report of the Higher Security Committee on developmental the situations in the governorate of Saada in the light of operations of the armed forces and security in repelling the terrorist elements that ignited sedition in some parts of Saada and their sabotage and criminal acts those elements perpetrated against the citizens, armed forces, security and public and private establishments.

The Defence Council also got acquainted with results of investigations and dangerous confessions given by some of the arrested terrorists. The confessions revealed the actual goals of those elements through their terrorist and criminal acts against the homeland and the people. The main of those goals are the coup against the republican system and the attempt of restoring the Imamate regime to the country, that regime on which the people of Yemen revolted and rid themselves of on 26 September 1962 and offered the dearest sacrifices in triumph for the will of the people for freedom from tyranny and despotism of the Imamate regime.

Investigations with terrorist elements disclosed that the slogan of �Death for America and Israel� is but an excuse to deceive the simple persons in order to conceal the real conspiratorial aims they seek to realise through taking arms against constitutional establishments, violation of law and order and committing crimes against the people and the armed forces and security.
