almotamar.net - The Yemen Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research threatened Thursday private universities violating the law that his ministry would not accredit certificates of graduates of those universities unless those universities submit to the law.

Minister Dr Saleh Basura stressed \t \ ceremony of opening a Lebanese university in Yemen on Thursday the necessity that universities established before the issuance of the law should also abide by the law or otherwise the ministry will not accredit the certificates of their graduates. He affirmed the importance of the private sector higher education to be subject to the law of the higher education and private in Yemen.

The Lebanese International University has celebrated the opening of its branch in Sana�a and the president of the university Dr Abdulrahim Murad praised in his address the role of the Yemen ministry of higher education in encouraging investments in Yemen in the area of education.
