almotamar.net - Head of the General People's Congress (GPC) Tariq al-Shamy affirmed Saturday the GPC and its media have committed completely to directives of the president of the republic Ali Abdullah Saleh, leader of the GPC he had given in the first meeting o the government of Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar after it had taken oath before the president. The president's directives stipulated to upgrade the level of the media address in official, party and independent media. The directives stressed that the media address should be national and responsible address keeping away from ant wrangles or harming the national interest.


Al-Shamy added that out of that commitment to those directives of the president the GPC would not slip into any action or reaction versus the unjustifiable enmity to the government shown by some of the parties of the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) and the press affiliated to them.

Al-Shamy added that though the GPC, the Islah and patriots in the YSP, the Nasserite Orgabnisation others from the national parties in Yemen represent one national fabric, there are some personalities who are rancourous on the homeland, the political system and even on themselves. Those personalities reflect their psychological complexes on all those around them, especially when they find themselves dwarfed and failing to achieve any useful thing for themselves or for others.
