almotamar.net - A big fire broke out Saturday in the central market in the district of Al-Makha, the governorate of Taiz resulting in destroying a number of shops selling clothes.

A security source affirmed to almotamar.net the fire broke out at 11:00 am and destroyed nine business shops for clothes the contents of which are estimated at50 to 60 million riyals.

The source attributed cause of fire to leakage of large quantity of gas inside a shop selling grilled food and that led to cause the shop set on fire and transferred to nearby shops, he pointed out that civil defence men managed to extinguish the fire after two hours of its eruption.
