Almotamar Net - The Yemen minister of culture Dr Mohammed Abubakr al-Maflahi said Monday the programme of the ministry of culture in the upcoming period is to include the establishment of new museums,  modernisation of display styles in the present museums and to continue the process of collecting manuscripts  in addition to encouraging the youth on studying manuscripts. almotamar.net - The Yemen minister of culture Dr Mohammed Abubakr al-Maflahi said Monday the programme of the ministry of culture in the upcoming period is to include the establishment of new museums, modernisation of display styles in the present museums and to continue the process of collecting manuscripts in addition to encouraging the youth on studying manuscripts.

Stating to almotamar.net the minister added that the museums will be open for visitors around the clock and the ministry will be responsible for financial needs.

The minister also said the ministry is intent to establish a college for fine arts in Sana'a and completion the furnishing of the cultural centre in Sana'a as well as building cultural centres in the governorates. The ministry is going to develop the cultural centres to be centres for cultural enlightenment. There will be training courses and workshops for teaching arts of music, singing and theatre and development of the fine arts institute.

Minister al-Maflahi affirmed the printing of books will witness noticeable development with regard to focusing publishing books in new fields as well as attention to authoring, translation and publication and the establishment of the national library.

The minister said there will be welcoming of any suggestions from producers and directors of cinema movies, calling on them to present their opinions for the production of cinema serving the society's issues.
