almotamar.net - Military sources in the governorate of Saada said Tuesday that units of the army and police managed in the past 24 hours to purge the area of Banimaath and drive out the terrorist elements from it where they found quantities of weapons the terrorists left behind. They announced the purging of the area where the terrorists were present.

The military sources said many of al-Houthi followers in the a\area have surrendered themselves to the state authorities and others fled the area.

The defence ministry website reported last night confirmation of the military sources that large quantities of weapons and ammunition were found there in addition to some transport means the terrorists were using. The sources reported that confrontations were going on in a number of mountainous positions in the area of Razih and Qatabir with the aim of purging them from the terrorists.
