Almotamar.net - Member of the General People's Congress (GPC), the member of Yemen parliament Ahmed Muhsin Al-Nuwairah said holding the first regular meeting of the GPC permanent committees in the governorates is a strong beginning of effective and organized organisational work for formations of the GPC and a new success start towards the activation of all the bases and bodies and formations of the GPC. Al-Nuwairah added that those formations have become, according to decision of the permanent committees, obliged to implement their organisation tasks and duties fully and with a sense of responsibility without leniency.

Al-Nuwairah pointed out that any failure by the GPC's formations and bodies will be organizationally held accountable to the permanent committee during the holding of their ordinary sessions every four months pursuant to the GPC rules of procedure, consequently any formation or sub-leadership that fails in carrying out its duties the permanent committees will have the right to apply the organisational punishments defined in the rules of procedure including withdrawal of confidence from that formation, he said.

In a statement to a;motamar.net Al-Nuwairah demanded from members of the permanent local committees in the governorates to shoulder their responsibilities with regard to assessing performance of all branches and formations of the party and to achieve continuous discipline for convening the regular meetings for them and all the formations along with obliging organisational monitoring committees to carry out their role actively and to offer their reports on the branches to meetings of the permanent committees in order to take the necessary decisions against them.
