almotamar.net - Penal prosecution began Sunday interrogation with a person with whom security authorities seized 250kg of different kinds of drugs.

Almotamar.net learned that the captured person confessed in the interrogation of having partners who participated with him in smuggling into Yemen more than 382 kg of drugs at previous times.

Security authorities arrested the accused at Qaflat Uthur crossing late last month and were in possession of the drugs he was intending to smuggle to neighbourly countries.

A security source said security men refused a large sum of money the accused offered them for his release after he failed to deceive the security by carrying a number of women and children in his car in which the drugs were seized.
