almotamar.net - Local sources in the governorate of Tamar that security apparatuses in the governorate started running security patrols to capture and confiscate weapons as part of a Yemeni plan n for prevention of carrying weapons inside cities.

The sources told almotamar.net that a patrol of emergency police in the governorate has arrested two persons after they tried to resist the patrol members and refused to hand over their weapons at the time of entering the city.

The sources said the two persons opened fire at the police patrol causing the injury of one policeman of the patrol that managed to arrest them and confiscate their pieces of arms.

The measures taken by security authorities for banning the carrying of weapons inside the provincial capital o the governorate as part of a plan for collecting weapons approved by the governorate last month and intends to carry it out in all governorates of Yemen.
