Almotamar.net Saba - SANA'A, May 14 (Saba)- Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi has held talks with the Cuban deputy Foreign Minister on aspects of joint cooperation between Yemen and Cuba.

They discussed means of developing and widening mutual cooperation relations in medicine, academic, cultural and sport terms.

Al-Arhabi praised the distinguished level of ties between Yemen and Cuba, affirming Yemen's adherence to enhance and develop them.

Al-Arhabi expressed his country's keenness to benefit from the Cuban experiences in field of medicine and fighting illiteracy.

Al-Arhabi called the Cuban government to resume giving scholarships to Yemeni students and activating the medical cooperation in various areas.

The Cuban official praised the growing level of relations between the two friendly countries, confirming his country's interest to boost terms of cooperation with Yemen.
