Almotamar.net - The governor of Saada Mutahar Rashad al-Masri confirmed Sunday success of the military operations carried out by armed forces and security against terrorists in some regions of Saada that recently resulted in the fall of their strongholds and tightening the grip on them

In his address during a meeting including him and the deputy chief of staff of human forces General Salem Ali Qatan, commander of the North-western area the commander of the 1st armoured division major general staff Muhsin Saleh with sheiks and notables of the areas of Amer, Qatan, Summar al-Sham and Baqum of the governorate of Saada , al-Masri said the successive victories affirm the joining of exerted efforts by the sons of the governorate with armed forces and security troops in repelling the terrorist elements and the sedition.

The governor conveyed to the meeting congratulations of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to all population and sheiks of Saada on the 17th National Day of the Yemeni Republic and talked on the course of events in the governorate in confronting the elements of terror and sabotage that threaten security and stability in the governorate.

On his part the deputy chief of staff of human forces reviewed in his address the verified successes to quell the sedition and restore security and stability to the governorate. He stressed the strict adherence to directives of the president in preserving life of the innocent people and public and private property and to offer all kinds of support and help to the needy citizens where the terrorists are trenching behind their villages and houses.

The commander of the north-eastern military area praised the governorate population cooperation in destroying the terrorist elements that insist on harming security and stability of the governorate.

The sheiks and notables of the governorate expressed their loyalty t God and the homeland, revolution and unity. They renewed their stand by the political leadership to put n end to the sedition and readiness to stand by the armed forces and security against the terrorist elements.
