Almotamar.net - Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdulrahman al-Attiyah declared Tuesday refusal of the GCC states of any interference in Yemen's internal affairs by any side.
In response to a question on the Gulf States' stance towards the rebellion gong on in Yemen, led by al-Houthi movement with support from Tehran, al-Attiyah said "Any interference in Yemen's internal affairs by any party is a matter rejected and absolutely unacceptable."
Al-Attiyah statements, reported by the Middle East Newspaper came on the sidelines of his participation in meetings of the Gulf negotiating team and experts from the international agency of nuclear energy on Monday. He expressed his rejection of any foreign interference in the GCC states internal affairs or affairs of their neighbourly Arab countries.
Al-Attiyah said the Gulf countries with what they face of political and economic challenges were not in need for increasing the weight of their shoulders with additional problems and to risking with increasing weight on the very sensitive regional balance.
