Almotamar.net - In response to call by president of the republic in his Tuesday speech in celebrations of the National Day when he called on the Yemeni political parties and organisations to resume their dialogue, sources at leadership of the General People's Congress (GPC) affirmed Wednesday that the parties and organisations represented at the parliament are to resume their meetings during the next week.
Almotamar.net learned that the Secretary General (SG) of the GPC has conducted contacts in this regard with leaders and secretaries general of those parties and organisations and they agreed to resume the dialogue in response to the call the president of the republic and that " everything can be subject to dialogue except impingement on the national constants, for reaching a future national accord in the framework of the submitted paper on rules and bases of the dialogue and its subjects."
The sources said the parties and organisations welcomed the president's call for resuming the dialogue, pointing out to a prelude meeting of leaders and secretaries general of the political parties and organisations to be held beginning of the next week or prior to holding the official session of dialogue.
Meanwhile the SG of the GPC Abdulqader Bajammal expressed his hope of expanding the dialogue to include all the topics that are of interest to the society including removal of any political congestion and strengthening bridges of trust for the service of the interest of the people and the Yemeni homeland.
