Almotamar.net - The station of agricultural research in the central heights region of Yemen launched in the period 1998-2006 more than 27 various agricultural research technology besides a number of other tasks and activities the station carries out.

Director of the station Abdullah Mohammed Muharam aid among the important launched research technologies is the addition of 7 kinds of wheat of good yield compatible with the region's environment. Other additions are related it is the addition of types of some cereals and vegetables as well as improvement of a species of sheep characterized by good yield of meat and rapid growth.

He said there are is implementation of researches pertaining to cattle and on treatment of different field crops leading to increase cows' milk production and other studies on integrated management of production.
