Lmotamar.net - Yemen's parliament opened Saturday its month-long session by discussing its agenda. Top on the parliament agenda were letters from the government to the parliament requesting withdrawal of draft laws on consumer protection, amendments on customs and finance laws, in addition to letters on enlisting civil aviation draft law on the parliament agenda.
It is scheduled that the parliament would review report of defence and security committee on the UN agreement of fighting non-national organised crime.
The agenda also contained discussion of the industry and trade committee on its field visits to see reality of investment and difficulties facing investors besides a report by the workforce and social affairs committee regarding a project of modernizing civil service as well as a report a special committee composed from both committees of foreign affairs and expatriates and public freedoms and human rights on its visit to governorates of Aden and Lahj for fact-finding regarding complaints of Ethiopian refugees in Yemen. The parliament agenda also included a report by freedoms committee on smuggling Yemeni children to neighbouring countries.
