In his meeting today with member of the PLF Politburo and his accompanying delegation Bajammal discussed danger of the Palestinian situations at the present, confirming Yemen's standing by the Palestinians struggle and their right to establish their independent state and its capital al-Quds.

The GPC Secretary-General also affirmed the importance of uniting all Palestinian efforts and energies, reiterating stress on Yemen's principled and firm stand in supporting the unity of the Palestinian people as the basis of their capability of overcoming difficulties and facing schemes of the occupation. He condemned the attacks the Israeli occupation is practicing against the defenseless Palestinian people.

The Palestinian delegation presented a brief account on the latest developments in Palestine and the aggression the Palestinians are exposed to and programmed annihilation operations by the occupation troops as well as the impact of the blockade imposed on the Palestinians.

The meeting also reviewed aspects of cooperation between the GPC and the PLF. The meeting was attended by Dr Mohammed Abuluhoum, head of the External Relations Office, Dr Abdullah Ahmed Ghanim, head of the Political Office and the head of the Information Office Tariq al-Shamy. For the Palestinian side the meeting was attended by representative of the PLF in Yemen Mohammed Aburajab and Nasser Izat and Arif Arafat, members of the PLF.
