Almotamar.net - Industry ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states are to consider outcomes of the investment opportunities in Yemen conference in their Tuesday meeting at the GCC headquarters in Riyadh.
The GCC secretary general Abdurrahman Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah said in a statement Monday it is scheduled the participants in the meeting t discuss many topics on their agenda. Among those topics are the draft bill of the law on the unified industrial organisation, appraisal of controls of industry inputs exemption from customs duties, results of a study on foreign capital investment in the GCC states, results of a study on protecting the GCC States industrial products and a project of unified rules to give priority to government projects.
He added that there will also be a discussion of comprehensive exportation strategy of the GCC states, results of the fifth meeting of the permanent committee of the GCC origin leaders, results of the conference on exploring investment opportunities in the Yemeni republic, results of the meeting of Gulf businessmen and their Indian counterparts in addition to issues related to carrying out the unified strategy for industrial development and report of the Gulf Organisation for Investment on implementing recommendations of the Gulf industrialists 10th conference of the GCC states.
It is to be mentioned that the conference on exploring investment opportunities in Yemen was held in Sana'a at the end of last April with a large Gulf participation and singled out important results on investment in Yemen.
