Almotamar.net - Deputy Head of the general People's Congress (GPC)'s parliamentary bloc Yaser al-Awadhi revealed Tuesday that members of the GPC leaders in branches of some districts in Saada met martyrdom with weapons of terror during their participating with armed forces and security troops in confrontation with the criminal acts carried out by terrorist elements against public and private property and members of he armed forces and security.

In a statement to almotmar.net today Al-Awadhi, head of the GPC technical office said 125 of the GPC leading members were killed during the terrorist acts recently taking place in Saada.

According to preliminary statistics Al-Awadhi pointed out that 216 other members were wounded, hailing their stands in supporting armed forces and security units and standing in the face of advocates of sedition.

On the other hand local sources have mentioned that about 40 terrorists surrendered themselves with their weapons to government forces in the past two days and 70 other were captured in the area of al-Saifi, described to be the largest stronghold of the terrorists. Sources of the ministry of interior said security forces found depots of ammunition and weapons and mines belonging to terrorist gangs.
