Almotamar.net - An official source at the presidency office denied Tuesday what some private and party organ newspapers, including newspapers of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform (Islah), alleged of imminent elections to be held for the post of parliament speaker.

The source said that was fabricated and groundless news and that Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hussein Al-Ahmar will remain speaker of the parliament until termination of his term.

The source prayed for God that Sheikh Al-Ahmar to entertain good health to be himself the elected speaker of the parliament for a new term after results of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Yemen.
