Almotamar.net - A source at the General People's Congress (GPC) expressed Thursday his party's pride for the great sacrifices offered by party leading members throughout stages of the national struggle where its leaders and founders were at the forefront of the strugglers of the revolution, the republic the unity and the realization of development and democracy as well as building the modern Yemen.


In his statement to almotamar.net the source denounced the attempt of some "hireling" newspapers of belittling sacrifices of armed forces, security and the rest of people from members of the GPC and others in the confrontations with elements of rebellion and terror in governorate of Saada which are about to end.

The source considered those newspapers and those behind them as trying to impose their media guardianship of what is going on in Saada in an attempt to prolong the period of confrontations. They claim their siding with the homeland while infect they give priority to their narrow interest to the interest of the homeland and fear losing their merchandise if the war ends.

The GPC source called on those newspapers and their managers to go to Saada to learn the how members from the GPC are at the forward front of battles beside their brothers in the armed forces and security and other citizens.

The source at the same time hailed steadfastness and bravery of armed forces and security troops, sons of Saada and all sons of the homeland who have stood up to advocates of sedition ands armed rebellion targeting the republican system and the country's security, stability and unity. He also disapproved the wrong interpretation of what was published in almotamar.net on the martyrdom and wounding of thousands of armed forces and security soldiers as well as volunteers, especially from the GPC in the fight against elements of rebellion in Saada.
