Almotamar.net - Results of polling process for the election of the board of directors of the chamber of commerce and industry in the capital that ended at an early hour Thursday revealed renewal of confidence in the previous board of directors who entered the elections in one slate composed of 11 persons despite the difference in their political affiliations.

Six of the candidates, among them a businesswoman, failed in the elections of the board of the Sana'a chamber of commerce and industry.

Commenting on the results of elections Mr. Salah al-Jalal, member of the chamber's general assembly and former information official said the winning slate achieved harmony among its members and formed in its composition a real national unity despite their political trends.

He pointed out there was a large support and unanimity by businessmen regarding the list due to what they experienced with the former leadership during its previous term that witnessed the most important issues of economy in Yemen.
