Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh affirmed Thursday Yemen's standing by and solidarity with the brethren in the Sultanate of Oman and putting all its capabilities at the disposal of Oman.

In a telephone conversation he made today with Sultan Qaboos of Oman the president affirmed preparedness to offer what Oman needs for facing the damage resulted from Cyclone Gonu.

The president got assured about situations in Oman after the Cyclone Gonu hit a number of regions in the Sultanate. In his telephone conversation the president pointed out that Yemen has followed up with concern the developments resulted from the cyclone and the victims and damage it has caused to Oman.

President Saleh expressed to Sultan Qaboos and the Omani people in his name and on behalf of the Yemeni government and people his condolences to the victims of the disaster.

Sultan Qaboos assured president Saleh on the situations, expressing his appreciation for president Saleh's sincere feelings for what the Sultanate because the cyclone.
