Almotamar.net - The governor of Saada major general Mutahar Rashad al-Masri said Saturday armed forces and security managed today to control the district of Ghamr and purged it from terrorists and captured a number of terrorists who were in the district.

Major general al-Masri also said armed forces and security were able today to purge the area of Shaar in Razih district as well as Jarha airport from terrorist and sabotage elements.

A military source said armed forces and security controlled completely the area of Shaar and Jarha airport situated outside the centre of Razih district by one and half km, clarifying that government forces inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists in the purging operation of the area and the airport. Some of the terrorists fled the area and others were captured and large quantities of weapons and ammunition were captured there.

These new developments come two days after armed forces control over significant positions of terrorists in areas of Maath Jaazie al-Dhahir inflicting on them heavy loses and capturing quantities of weapons and ammunition and the surrender of a number of terrorists.
