SANA'A, June 09 (Saba)- Yemen welcomed on Saturday Canadian investments in different fields.

During his meeting with the visiting Canadian parliamentary delegation, Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakil discussed aspects of trade ties between Yemen and Canada.

He affirmed the importance of exchanging visits between the two countries investors and businessmen to encourage joint investments, reviewing opportunities of investment in Yemen and advantages granted by the Yemeni Investment Law. "We would offer all support to bring the Canadian investments in the country into success," al-Mutawakil said.

The delegation voiced desire of Canadian investors to set up joint ventures in Yemen.
