Almotamar Net - Yemeni military source said Sunday that units of army and security along with volunteers from the governorate of Saada gained control on remaining positions of north and north-west of Mufrakh area and stationed on Ahrash Mountain as well as gaining control of al-Nuasi village. The source added that the terrorists were seen fleeing the area towards the areas of Saha and Dalaan to the east and towards Dhahyan. Army troops and security captured a number of terrorists that were trying to escape towards Manbah area while other terrorists were being chased in Al-Nuasi village and neighbouring farms and many of them were killed and others wounded.

Other units of the army and security were able to gain control on farms and villages situated to the south of Mualaqat Mountains. Eyewitnesses said they saw two of terror leaders covered with much blood.

The source added units from the army have surrounded Al-Qalaa completely and seized important positions there to the east and the south and pounded pockets of terrorists, expecting to control it in few hours time.

In expression of the state of their defeats terrorist elements set fire to a police station in Qalaa in the district of Razih and attacked citizens and farmers houses in some areas at the time they were fleeing before pursuit of army and security men. Sources expected that the remaining of those elements would be destroyed in the coming days to decide the events of insurgency in north Yemen for good.
