Almotamar.net - The Local council of Thamar governorate approved Sunday withdrawing confidence from taxation office director in a measure the second of its kind with regard to issues of fighting financial and administrative corruption.

Secretary-General of Thamar Local Council Shaif Mujahid al-Ansy told almotamar.net after the meeting the council related to accountability of executive officials it has approved withdrawal of confidence from Hussein Ali Al-Amin director general of taxation office for breaching his duties.

Meanwhile the council gave director general of public works office a grace period of three months to remove failures inside his office and formed a committee from the council to pay field visits to follow up progress of performance in the works office.

Thamar local council approved in its extraordinary meeting yesterday withdrawing confidence from government officials undertaking leading executive apparatuses in the governorate after listening to answers of to heads of those administration units to questions asked by most of the council members.
