Almotamar.net - Chairman of the Services Committee at the parliament Awadh al-Socotri told almotamar.net Monday that his committee was preparing a report on projects built in Ibb on the occasion of celebrating the 17th national day of Yemen unity and it will be submitted at the parliament on Wednesday for consideration.

The chairman of the committee made field visits a few days ago to the city where it held meetings with the local council and executive officials and also visited sites of many of damaged projects.

It is to be mentioned that a number of projects implemented on marking the unity anniversary were exposed to damage caused by heavy rains that fell on the governorate late last May and were highlighted by the media in Yemen. That aroused attention inside the parliament at the end of last week. The parliament demanded the services committee to go to the governorate for fact-finding and to submit an urgent report in this regard.
