Almotamar.net - Responding to the stance expressed by the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) that described the war in Saada as futile and mysterious a number of parliament members confirmed in statements to almotamar.net on Monday that the JMP stand is irresponsible.

Secretary general of the presidency office MP Abdullah al-Bashiri said this stand does not at any rate in line with national stands of political parties in general, whether they were part of the JMP or outside it as it is taken into consideration that the rebellion in Saada cannot be looked at neutrally because it impinges on the constants and the rebels violation of the constitutions and the law.

MP Ali Al-Amrani said the phrases voiced by the JMP have nothing to do with responsibility and the least description of them is that they represent a stand that is not understandable. It is part of absurdity and encouragement of the sedition that is waging futile war as the Houthis have not announced exactly what their goals are. He reminded the words of the former governor of Saada Yahya Al-Shamy when he addressed he Houthis, "Just tell us who you are and we will deal with you!" he indicated that the state has no problem in dealing with any sect and it is not biased against any sect but added that those people raised their arms against the constitutional legitimacy and fought a war through which they trey to create chaos, destabilize security and general safety and to give an unreal image of Yemen.

On his part the reporter of the parliamentary constitutional and legal committee MP Sinan Al-Ajmy wished that the JMP were more realistic, pointing out that what is going on in Saada is an issue related the entire homeland rather than a certain political party, whether ruling or not.

He elaborated that as long as the highest legislative power in the country has given the government the absolute power to deal with the Houthi rebellion the opposition should have waited the results. He stressed the importance of the unity of all efforts because it is sedition.
