Almotamar.net - Arbitration Committee at the social Affairs Office in the governorate of Taiz began Sunday its session to decide the complaint rose against the Woman Forum for Studies and Training, a civil society organisation in Yemen. The complaint is raised by the rights and media activist Mutahar Al-Sharjabi.

Al-Sharjabi said he had worked for the Forum as deputy managing editor of the Rights of Freedoms magazine issued by the Forum for more than three years and he has rights the director of the Forum Suad Al-Qadasi refused to pay them to him. That stance forced him to file a suit with the Arbitration Committee that began considering his lawsuit on Sunday and decided to adjourn its sittings until next week.

Al-Sharjabi added there was a mediation made by an activist in the rights field but it did not produce any result until now.

This is considered a lawsuit the first of its kind filed against an organisation concerned with rights claiming to be defending human rights but at the same time it is complained by an employee used to work for it and exerted good efforts in activities of the Woman Forum.
