Almotamar Net - A three-day workshop on developing capacities of members of general prosecution began at the office of the Yemeni general prosecutor Monday. The training focuses on the field of investigation into crimes of corruption organised by the office of the general prosecutor in cooperation with the German Establishment of Yemeni cooperation. The workshop discussed many working papers presented by both Yemeni and German sides and there was a review of the German experiment in the area of combating corruption. The workshop is attended by representatives for the Yemeni ministry of justice, the central apparatus for audit and accountability, the ministry of interior and a number of German experts in the area of fighting corruption.

The workshop aims to come out with recommendations and proposals that can enable the general prosecution to perform a bigger and more perfect role in fighting corruption and to put a mechanism through which there can be activation of the laws related to fighting crimes of corruption and limiting its emergence before its happening.
This is the second workshop organised by the general prosecutor in cooperation with the German establishment for technical cooperation in fighting corruption.
