Almotamar.net - Security authorities in the governorate of Ibb arrested Wednesday two persons two hours after their stealing of gold jewellery and sums of money estimated at one million and half riyals from a house in the city of Ibb.
Brigadier general Yahya Issa, the director of 17 July police station in the governorate told almotama.net that immediately after receiving a report on stealing the house the police quickly began investigation and chasing the suspects through many measures and it became clear the thieves were heading for the city of Taiz where the security there were informed on the incident and they in turn managed to arrest them at the moment they arrived in the city.
The accused persons were arrested and in their possession were gold pieces the value of which estimated at one million and half riyals. Interrogations with them disclosed they had previous thefts including gold and weapons estimated at YR 10 million stolen from more than 15 houses in one year.
The police chief said the case was still under investigation until the procedures are completed and then they will be sent to court.
