The two leaders talks focused on bilateral relations in various fields and expansion of economic, trade and investment cooperation.

Saleh-Mubarak talks also dealt with developments of the Arab situations especially the current developments in the Palestinian territories, Iraq and Lebanon in addition to the situations of Darfur crisis, the conditions in Somalia.

President Ali Abdullah Saleh arrived in Cairo Wednesday on a two-day visit to Egypt where he was received by the Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak.

The talks of President Saleh was attended by the Yemeni Chairman of the Shoura Council Abdulaziz, the minister of oil and minerals Khalid Mahfoudh Bahah, Dr Abdulwali al-Shamiri the Yemeni ambassador to Egypt and the permanent delegate to the Arab League.
