PETR - Amman, June 28 (Petra) � Minister of Industry and Trade Salem Al Khazaleh discussed today with Director of Yemeni General Investment Authority Salah Al Attar scopes of enhancing the bilateral ties in trade, economic and investment domains.

Khazaleh highlighted the importance of increasing trade exchange between the two countries, developing relations in various domains, exchanging investments and building economic relations that would serve the interests of both countries.

Al Attar hailed the cooperation relations between Jordan and Yemen, expressing his country�s desire to benefit from the Jordanian expertise in the various spheres, especially establishing industrial cities, qualification and training.

Jordan�s exports to Yemen stood at JD25 million in 2006, while imports from Yemen reached JD3 million. The volume of Yemeni investments in Jordan reached JD520,000.
