Almotamar.net - The ministry of higher education seeks in collaboration with the ministry of finance to omit names of about one-thousand Yemeni students from lists of students sent for study outside Yemen because of their failure in their studies and non-commitment to system of studies at Arab and foreign universities they were sent to.
A source at the higher education ministry told almotamar.net that his ministry delivered to the finance ministry a few days ago a request to drop names of 1000 students from lists of Yemeni students sent on scholarships and to replace them by other students to be sent to study abroad. He added that a specialised committee was set up to check up names of those students and cancel their scholarships.
The measure of the ministry of higher education comes as part of reforms the government is carrying out in different fields in Yemen.
