Almotamar.net - The higher preparatory committee for Yemen's hosting of Gulf 20 holds Monday an important meeting expected to be chaired by Yemen's Prime Minister Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar. The meeting will decide where to hold in Yemen the hosting of Gulf 20 scheduled the beginning of 2011.

Senior Youth and Sport Undersecretary Muamar al-Eryany affirmed the meeting comes in response to directives of president Ali Abdullah Saleh on early preparation to host in Yemen the Gulf 20 and to demonstrate an honourable hosting that reflects the known image of the Yemeni people's generosity and hospitality guaranteeing Yemen's honouring of this important sport event.

Al-Eryany told almotamar.net the meeting will decide the question of the site for holding the event in Yemen.

There is a request by a number of businessmen to hold the sport event in the economic capital of Yemen instead of Sana'a where it has been scheduled to be held the beginning of January 2011.
