Almotamar.net - A republican decree was issued Tuesday on the formation of the Higher National Committee on fighting corruption.

The decree mentioned that in accordance of the constitution and the law 39 for 2006 regarding the combating of corruption and pursuant to nomination of the Shoura Council and approval of parliament a decree as issued for the setting up of the Higher National Committee on fighting corruption composed of eleven members

The decree, signed by the president of the republic, is operative at the date of its issuance on 3 July 2007 and its publication in the official gazette.
